Founded by vocalist Sandi King and singer-songwriter/guitarist Joshua Taylor, soul band King Taylor Project consists of some of San Diego's most highly regarded players and contributors to the original music scene. Their energetic single "Devil in the White City" received twin SDMA nominations for Best R&B, Funk or Soul Song and Song of the Year.

King and Taylor frequently work together outside of KTP, arranging and performing backing vocals for original projects, and singing as featured performers. They have contributed to multiple award-winning projects, including Jeff Berkley & The Banned, Jonny Tarr, and Lauren Leigh. King Taylor Project features some of San Diego’s finest musicians playing a funky, soulful, rocking blend of it’s members’ original compositions and their interpretations of beloved classic and modern tunes.
